Sean’s practice focuses on public finance, urban development law, and State legislative matters. He works with special purpose districts, such as municipal utility districts and municipal management districts, in the role of both general counsel and bond counsel.
Education and Professional Background. The University of Texas at Austin (B.S. in Government, 2005); South Texas College of Law (J.D., 2009); Corporate Counsel Review Journal. Prior to joining the firm, Sean served as an Assistant Attorney General in the Public Finance Division of the Office of the Attorney General. Additionally, Sean served as General Counsel to a State Senator and staffed the Senate Intergovernmental Relations Committee as a policy analyst.
Member. State Bar of Texas; American Bar Association; Austin Bar Association, Real Estate Section; Urban Land Institute (ULI). Sean currently serves as the Chair for ULI Next, Austin Chapter, and is a member of the Management Committee for ULI Austin.
