Jonathan serves as counsel to special purpose districts, including municipal utility districts, water control and improvement districts, and freshwater supply districts that finance and construct water, sewer, drainage, and other essential public infrastructure serving growing communities. Jonathan advises district boards on public law matters, contract negotiation and drafting, administration of public meetings, regulatory compliance, and the issuance of tax-exempt bonds. He regularly works with cities, counties, developers, consultants, and other stakeholders across North Texas to support coordinated infrastructure delivery and long-term district operations. Jonathan’s experience includes involvement in master-planned communities such as Viridian, Light Farms, Canyon Falls, and Lantana.
Jonathan brings a practical perspective to his practice informed by prior experience as a construction manager and as a litigator and contract negotiator in real estate and construction matters. He values public finance as a tool for helping communities function effectively over time through clear processes and durable infrastructure. What Jonathan values most about ABHR is its close-knit, collaborative culture and shared commitment to success.
