ABHR Expands Into North Texas

As the leading law firm in the state working with land developers and municipalities to provide public infrastructure for land development in the Houston and Central Texas areas, Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP is delighted to expand the firm into the North Texas market with the opening of an office on March 1, 2022. Founding Partner Steve Robinson has relocated to North Texas to manage the office.

ABHR has deep roots in North Texas, having previously represented clients on land development projects in the region, including in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. With this expansion, ABHR can represent clients in virtually all high-growth areas of Texas.

Steve’s practice includes all aspects of public law with an emphasis on tax-exempt finance, urban development, and special districts. Steve is particularly active in the representation of real estate developers and landowners using tax increment reinvestment zones, municipal utility districts, municipal management districts, local government corporations, and other special districts. He serves as general counsel to numerous political subdivisions and acts as bond counsel for local government tax-exempt financings. He also negotiates with various local government officials and developers regarding land development, infrastructure projects, economic development incentives, and stadium projects.

Steve notes, “With North Texas’ explosive population growth and ever-increasing demand for housing, and now with the increased need for special districts for land development activities, we felt this was the right time to open a physical office in North Texas.”
