ABHR Presents To State-Wide County Treasurers Association

Allen Boone Humphries Robinson LLP (ABHR) partner Alia Vinson recently presented at the 77th Annual County Treasurers’ Association of Texas (CTAT) Conference, held September 15-18, 2025, at the Sugar Land Marriott Hotel in Sugar Land, Texas. The event gathered county treasurers, financial leaders, and policymakers from across the state for four days of professional development, networking, and recognition.

Vinson’s presentation focused on strategies for counties to collaborate with Municipal Utility Districts (MUDs) in developing vibrant, resilient, and sustainable communities. She highlighted innovative partnership models that enhance infrastructure, support economic growth, and ensure long-term fiscal stability. As a recognized expert in public finance and municipal law, Vinson’s insights underscored ABHR’s commitment to fostering effective public-private collaborations that benefit Texas communities.

The conference, hosted by CTAT Region 12 under the leadership of Fort Bend County Treasurer Bill Rickert, featured a range of sessions on topics including cybersecurity, budgeting modernization, emergency management, and public service leadership. Rickert was honored as a statewide finalist for Treasurer of the Year during the event.

ABHR, a Houston-based law firm dedicated to public infrastructure and community development, is proud to support initiatives like the CTAT Conference that empower local governments to build stronger Texas.
