Legislative Session Flashback: Throughout the 89th Texas legislative session, ABHR partner Trey Lary and our Austin team actively monitored legislation and advocated for policies that promote quality growth, attainable housing, and high-quality infrastructure.
As this legislative cycle just came to a close, we wanted to share some flashback moments from the session. Sen. Brandon Creighton (R-Conroe) was elected President Pro Tempore (third in line behind the Governor and Lieutenant Governor) and was sworn in on April 11 as Governor for a Day. Trey attended the ceremony at the Governor’s Mansion, featuring an address by U.S. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson.
