ABHR recently hosted a firmwide Make-A-Wish Volunteer Day, bringing together more than 100 team members across our Houston, Dallas, and Austin offices to support the incredible work Make-A-Wish does for children and families in our communities.
Each office began the day with breakfast and an opportunity to learn more about Make-A-Wish, the families it serves, and ABHR’s growing partnership with the organization across Texas. From there, our teams got to work on a variety of projects designed to support and encourage children throughout their wish journeys.
Across our three offices, team members assembled adventure kits, created wish bracelets, decorated Mickey Mouse ears, designed colorful envelopes and cards for wish families, and recorded uplifting video messages for children waiting for their wishes.
In addition to volunteering, ABHR made a donation to the chapter serving each of our three regions to further support its mission and the families it serves.
Our partnership with Make-A-Wish has given our team the opportunity to see firsthand the impact a wish can have on a child and their family. We are grateful for the work Make-A-Wish does every day and for the opportunity to play a small part in supporting that mission.
Most of all, we are thankful for the more than 100 ABHR team members who gave their time, creativity, and energy to make the day a success. We are fortunate to have a team of community-minded people who continually look for opportunities to support and serve the communities where we live and work.
